Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa, with a tropical climate and consists mostly
of a high plateau, with some hills and mountains, dissected by river valleys. Zambia is drained
by two major river basins: the Zambezi basin in the south covering about three-quarters of
the country; and the Congo basin in the north covering about one-quarter of the country.
The Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders) is a waterfall
located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and
Zimbabwe. The falls are some of the largest in the world.

new economy. It has a population of just over 11 million, and a GDP per capita income
